Being endued with advanced equipment for production, test and experiment, We are engaged in designing and processing businesses of all kinds of various brazing assembliies and developing business of customized filler metals. There are 6 series, more than 300 brands, and about 2000 species of filler metals, including silver base filler metals, copper base filler metals, aluminum base filler metals, tin-lead base filler metals, powder filler metals, and sandwich filler metals. Brazing filler metals can be supplied in various forms, such as wire, rod, tape, sheet, ring, powder, paste, foil, preforming, and flux-cored forms, and widely applied in industry of aerospace, electric power, vehicle, diamond tools, carbide tools, petroleum exploitation tools, coal drilling tools, refrigeration system, spectacle frames, motor, lamp, etc.
Filler metals for diamond tools fall into 4 categories: (1) Silver base filler metals are used to braze diamond cutting tools, saw blades, tiles, grinding plates, which are applied in stone, ceramic or cement concrete pavement processing. (2) Nickel base filler metals are suitable for the brazed monolayer diamond tools in vacuum brazing. (3) Zn-Cd solders are mainly used to braze honing stone. (4) Copper base brazing filler metals are used for diamond tools which service at elevated temperatures.
Filler metals for carbide tools fall into 4 categories: (1) Copper base brazing filler metals are used for diamond tools which service at elevated temperatures. (2) Silver base filler metals have good wetability, fiiability , and high fatigue resistance. (3) Sandwich filler metals show good impact resistance, higher high-temperature strength, and contribute to avoid the crack of carbide. (4) Powder filler metals are applied to automatic brazing.
There are 5 categories of filler metals for drilling tool. (1) Silver base filler metals with cadmium melt at low temperature, and are usually used to braze auxiliary tools. (2) Cadmium-free silver base filler metals satisfied the requirements of environmental protection, are mainly used for miniature drills. (3) BAg series are mainly used for PDC drilling bits. (4) Copper base brazing filler metals are able to form high strength joints with higher brazing temperatures, are mainly used for carbide drills; (5) Maceration alloy is an important material in the coldpressed maceration, pressureless maceration and PDC bit manufacture.
To make sure filler metals meets the strict requirement of spectacle frames, the chemical contents of filler metals for spectacle frames should be quite pure and stable and the measurement must be accurate and consistent. There are 3 categories of filler metals for spectacle frames. (1) GS1××series are used for brazing stainless steel and monel. (2) GS5××series are suitable for brass and copper-nickel alloy. (3) TH××series are applied for titanium alloy.
Under ISO9001:2000 system and IECQ-HSPM(QC080000)system, products have been passed SGS environmental test, all of them comply with the direction of “RoHS”. Filler metals for pipeline in refrigeration system fall into 3 categories: (1) New cadmium-free silver brazing filler metals are conformed ROHS requirement. (2) Traditional silver brazing filler metals are used for brazing Bundy tube with dense joint. (3) Cu-P filler metals are applied to braze copper tube with gas flux.
Copper base brazing filler metals fall into 4 categories: (1) Cu-Zn alloy are mainly used for argon arc welding of copper alloys and overlaying of steel. (2) Cu-Zn-Mn(Co/Ni)alloys are mainly used for carbide tools. (3) Cu-Ni-Mn alloys are applied for making high temperature and high strength workpiece with good fluidity and plasticity. (4) Cu-Si alloys are used for argon arc brazing. (5)Cu-Mn-Fe and Cu-Sn alloys are mainly used for furnace brazing of steel. (6) Cu-P alloys are used for brazing copper subassenmblies with good fluidity.
Filler metals for copper aluminium joint is a kind of seamless flux-cored wire with consistent filling coefficient, its mainly element ingredients are zinc, aluminium, copper, and noncorrosive fluoride, and the welding processing property, mechanical properties and electrical conductivity are better than Zn-Cd and Zn-Sn-Cu series. There are 5 categories of filler metals for copper aluminium joint, such as Al-Si, Zn-Al, Zn-Al-Si, Zn-Al-Ag and Zn-Al-Cu. In addition Zn-Al and Zn-Al-Ag are the most widely used industrial one now. Filler metals for copper aluminium joint have a wide application in the field of electricity and electrical equipment, stainless steel products, refrigeration system, hardware product. Filler metals for copper aluminium joint can be preserved for long-term without any antiseptic, and be bent into a ring without powder loss.
The industrial base of ESRC covers 3200 sq.m, it has three ESRC furnaces with capacity of 700kVA、2000kVA、3000kVA、8000kVA, by which ESRC castings of 0.1-80t/piece can be produced. In recent years,it has supplied over ten thousand tons of premium ESRC castings to dozens of large and medium hydraulic power stations at home and abroad.
SRIF undertakes research and development of special steel materials (heat-, wear-and corrosion-resistant), foundry CAD, AOD refining technology and equipment concerned. the institute has got a series of important achievements of special steel materials, steel casting technology, heat treatment specially used in the flow passage components for hydropower station, OCrl3Ni4Mo and OCrl6Ni5Mo stainless steel materials used for power stations, which researched and developed by ourselves, have become the main steel grades in the national hydraulic turbine manufacturing industry. The properties of newly developed high yield strength ratio stainless steel have already reached the advanced level in the world.
The industrial base of Aluminum alloy casting covers 7000 sq.m. For many years, SRIF undertakes a lot of scientific research and production tasks of military products; it is the backbone of national military aluminum alloy castings supporting companies. The quality of our large, complicated and premium aluminum alloy castings has met or exceeded specifications in MILL-21180(military standard of U.S.).

SRIF started the research and production of copper alloy from the 1960s. there are many kinds of products covering shipping, airspace, military, power and coal mining industries. The material includes GB, ASTM AND ISO criteria, furthermore, we can develop the special copper alloy material if the customer requires.
Industrial base of Foundry materials integrates research, production and marketing, and continuously adopts domestic and foreign advanced technology to research, develop and produce high quality foundry materials. In recent ten years, it undertakes more than 40 national research tasks, and over 150 research achievements have been made, among them 2 achievements were awarded National Creation Invention Reward. It has more than 10 patent technologies and advanced inspection equipments. Main Products are: coating materials for foundry, resin and firming agent, modified sodium silicate binder and firming agent, breaking agent, nucleating agent, covering agent and parting agent. Other products: foundry auxiliary materials such as Zirconium sand (powder), Chromites sand (powder), and painting equipments, the products are sold to domestic and foreign markets.
Metal Forming Division is engaged in development of precision forging technology such as combined forming of extrusion and upsetting,enclosed die forging ,cold & hot extrusion, precision cropping, forging facilities for special-purpose. It provides a large selection of hot or cold precision forgings to meet your most demanding applications for steering rocker arm shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, cross and spindle.
Plating materials include: nickel-plated series of materials, zinc-plated series of materials, copper-plated series of materials, chrome-plated series of materials, chemical nickel-plated series of materials, pre-treatment series of materials and environmentally friendly plating material. Electroplating’s Technology Productivity Promoting Center,which is attached to RIMP has been dedicated to provide technical support at surface treatment services to small and medium enterprises . The products are widely used in electronics, machinery, precision instruments and other fields.
Chemical conversion process materials including: chemical oxidation of aluminum material, anodized of aluminum material, aluminum alloy materials and series of sealing materials. Mainly engaged in technology development on surface conversion at non-ferrous metal and black metal , with excellent team and a good working basis. Widely used in machinery, metal processing area.
Chemical heat treatment materials are mainly salt bath nitriding process materials and diffusion metallizing materials. Specializing in new process research and development of chemical heat treatment, and undertake heat treatment processing services. Already used in Fujian Nanan, Chengdu energy-saving technologies furnace Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Wuhan Kepeng,and other metal processing enterprises.
Corrosion inhibition and rust-proof materials including: anti-rust oil and antirust additives, H-93 series of high-temperature corrosion and scale inhibitors and HW-06 low temperature corrosion inhibitor. Aim at circulating water system on machinery, metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power industry has excellent corrosion and scale inhibition effect, can effectively inhibit the electrochemical corrosion of cooling water and prevent corrosion of equipment leaks.
Pre-treatment coating materials for coating include: degreasing & descaling materials, bonderite, protective wax, mist coagulant and automotive sealants. Passed the ISO9001: 2008, international quality system certification TS16949: 2002, with hazardous chemicals safety production license; develop phosphate technology national standards. Mainly support services to Dongfeng, Beijing Hyundai, Shaanxi Auto, Haier and other enterprises.
Surface engineering process involved in Thermal Spray and heat treatment,include Plasma spraying、Flame spraying,Detonation gun spraying,vacuum heat treatment and lasma nitriding.We have good work experience on Anti-corrosion coating process of large steel structure,wear resistant process of auto Parts and mechanical transmission parts,also,provide efficient, high-precision processing technology for client persistently, which invoved in CSIC、WuHan TongDa、YaTai Aluminum.
Coatings include: anti-corrosion coating inside the radiator, autophoresis coating, fluorocarbon coatings, oil resistance and conducting electrostatic coatings , water-based paint, peelable coatings and other specialty coatings. Have a good team, strong technical development capabilities, and complete a large number of national research projects. Special coatings are widely used in shipbuilding, machinery, bridges, automobiles and construction.
R&D including: 3D modeling, forming tooling and process, punching and water cutting, special checking fixture, special equipment for automotive interior trims. These tooling and equipment have been equipped on many popular vehicles.
1.1 3D Modeling
It can create accurate geometry and spatial location of every hole, every bump, every ridge and each piece surface of automotive interior parts, therefore, to reach the perfect fit with car body and other related parts, and to achieve a smooth, comfortable and pleasant inner space. The technology has been used in design and manufacturing front floor carpet, rear carpet, headliner Trunk Trim,Trunk Lid,Pad ASSY,Pad-Hood,wheel fender,Door Panel,Chair Cushion,Heat and Sound Insulating Felt etc.
1.2 Automotive Interior Forming Process and Tooling
According to the material and shape, rational tooling structure, loading and unloading system, floating or fixed blank pressing device can be designed and manufactured, which is convenient for tooling changing and connecting with press.
Thermoplastic forming tooling has built-in water cooling device, rapid self-closing joints. Thermoset forming tooling, by adopting rigid and large section contacted design, can realize high efficient heat transfer.
High density aluminum casting mold blank has no sand holes, no pores, and other casting defects. High heat transfer efficiency improves productivity. Stainless materials avoid grease contamination to soft decoration materials.
Mold cavity is made by precision CNC machining with high accuracy and smooth surface.
According to forming temperature, setting time, geometry shape, blank pressing method, material properties and so on, the correct product shrinkage ratio is determined by experiments.

1.3 Punching and water cutting Toolings
Punching tooling:Hot and cold stamping tooling——heterotypic hole and three-dimensional curve cutting, serrated edge, cutting in any direction, multiple movements, automatic return of material, automatic temperature control (hot cutting).
Water cutting tooling——complex cavity positioning, negative pressure dehydration, all stainless material, with trimming and punching functions.
1.4 Automotive interior special checking fixture
Made by special material, removable. Accuracy guarantees by triple-coordinate measuring. Car coordinate and tolerance is colorfully identified. Pins or fitting positioning. Surface brightness.

2.1 “SBS” high quality cold die steels
“SBS” high quality cold die steels include: special mould steel for cold stamping(“SBS” Cr12MoV, “SBS”LJ and“SBS”GD etc.);special mould steel for cold extrusion(“SBS”65Nb,“SBS”Cr12Mo1V1 and “SBS”LD etc.);special mould steel for cold drawing( “SBS”Cr12MoV, “SBS”Cr12Mo1V1 etc.). It has now been applied in some fields like stainless steel stretch ,Al-alloy cold extrusion , stamping cold molding etc.
2.2 “SBS” long life hot die steels
“SBS” long life hot die steels include:new high thermal strength machinery forging material(“SBS” HM1),new high toughness properties large cross section hot-forging die material(“SBS”DR2, “SBS”HHD and “SBS”DR3),new hot extrusion-used die material(“SBS”HM3),new cold fatigue and hot fatigue resisting die material(“SBS”HM3),new long life hot-cold die material(“SBS”X45 and “SBS”RM2). Applied to hot forming of non-ferrous metals, such as hot-forging dies,hot-extrusion die,die casting mold etc.
2.3 “SBS”special application materials of high performance
“SBS”special application materials of high performance include: special high stength cutter tool material(“SBS”X45) ,special hot die material(“SBS” TQM2), end top material for hot extrusion and highly wearable die material (“SBS”TQM1). It has now been applied in various extreme operating conditions like the rescue cutter material,hot work part in magnesium alloy die casting process,copper extrusion die etc.
2.4“SBS”conventional kind
“SBS” hot-working die steel(H13,5CrNiMo,5CrMnMo and 3Cr2W8V etc.), “SBS” cool-working die steel(Cr12 and M2 etc.) and “SBS” mould steel for plastics (P20,M300 and S136 etc.).According to the kind of steel, hot die ,cool die and die for plastics were appropriated for many manufacturer, establishing stable cooperation with high customer satisfaction.
